Description
The South Dakota State Fair is seeking a qualified, licensed plumbing contractor to provide comprehensive, year‑round plumbing services for all fairground facilities, including emergency response, seasonal winterization, routine maintenance, and underground utility work. The contract runs for a three‑year base term with the option to extend for up to two additional years, requiring on‑call availability and the ability to coordinate with city utilities and vendors.
• Provide 24/7 emergency plumbing response (≤ 1 hour) across fairgrounds.
• Perform seasonal winterization, water shut‑offs, and re‑activation for all buildings and vendor sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, drain cleaning, fire‑hydrant and sprinkler system support, and excavations for water/sewer lines using contractor‑owned equipment.
• Maintain required insurance, certifications, and comply with numerous state‑mandated certifications (debarment, foreign‑entity, boycott‑of‑Israel, legislator interest, etc.).
