Building capacity for sustainable and integrated HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programs in the Republic of Mozambique under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The Centers for Disease Control-GHC is seeking applications to build capacity for sustainable and integrated HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programs in the Republic of Mozambique under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to provide technical assistance and support Provincial Health Directorates in the implementation of HIV and TB prevention and life-saving care and treatment services. Recipients will provide technical assistance and capacity building for Provincial Health Directorates (SPS) and other government stakeholders, and complementary support for select activities and functions in Mozambique. Key aspects of the opportunity include: • Implementation will be at national, provincial, district, and sub-district levels. • Activities will be implemented in: Maputo City, Maputo, Gaza, Inhambane, Cabo Delgado province and other provinces as assigned. • Additional provinces, districts or sites may be added based on evolving program support needs. • The NOFO will also provide technical assistance to public health care services and local organizations in building their capacity for service delivery in Mozambique.
