Master Leasing of Housing and Community Development Department Property

The City of Raleigh is seeking mission-based partners interested in leasing City-owned vacant rental units to further their mission. The City has seven currently available units and possibly eight units over time in two buildings. The properties are located at 545 E. Edenton Street and 555 E. Edenton Street. The City is looking for partners to master lease these units for the purpose of providing permanent housing solutions that align with the City's Affordable Housing Plan. • The lease term and rental rate will be negotiated with the selected partner. • The partner will be responsible for managing unit occupancy, paying rent and utilities, and ensuring compliance with the lease. • The City prioritizes permanent housing solutions that support housing choice and community integration for people with disabilities. • The partner should have experience in master leasing properties and providing services to the target population. • The partner should be a corporation or nonprofit in good standing and qualified to conduct business in North Carolina.
