Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Maintenance Agreement for Zeiss LSM980

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate and award a contract for a maintenance agreement for a Carl Zeiss LSM980 Airyscan confocal microscope used for confocal and super-resolution analysis of biological specimens. The Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics (LCBG) of the NIH/NCI/CCR has a need for a service contract to maintain their microscope. The LCBG Microscopy Core needs to provide over 100 users with “state-of-the-art” microscopic imaging for a wide range of applications. • The contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-99-1. • The resultant contract will be classified under NAICS code 811210 with a Size Standard $34M. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this notice. • Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties' bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement.
