Description
The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking a contractor to provide temporary restroom facilities (portable toilets/Porta-Jons) at various sites located in North Carolina along the Blue Ridge Parkway due to facility closures from Hurricane Helene. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to maintain portable toilets in a safe, sanitary, and accessible condition. The period of performance is from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. Key requirements include:
• Furnishing and placement of portable toilets
• Servicing and maintenance of portable toilets three times a week
• Providing units in natural colors, free from graffiti or unauthorized markings
• Securing units against tipping and repairing or replacing vandalized units within 24 hours
• Insuring units or calculating the anticipated cost of repairs over the year and including it in the quote.
