Transition Training Panels

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide Transition Training Panels at Eglin AFB, Florida. The solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is set aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 331315, and the small business size standard is 1400 employees. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. • The panels must meet specific design requirements, including a metal bonded training panel 3/4" thick, 27" x 27" with a 5/16" radius. • The panels must be made with specific materials, including 2024-T3 aluminum for the top and bottom skins, and a honeycomb core made of aluminum. • The panels must be bonded with film adhesive equivalent to BMS5-154 TY2 CL1 GR5. • The transition area is only required on two edges of the panel.
