D--Direct Internet Access Services

The US Geological Survey, Geologic Hazards Science Center (GHSC) is seeking information from potential vendors to provide Direct Internet Access services. The services will be used to expand and modernize the current computing environment. The contractor will be required to provide a dedicated, symmetrical fiber-based Internet circuit, ensure compliance with TIC 3.0 security requirements, and provide DDoS mitigation capabilities. The scope of work includes all necessary last-mile construction, inside wiring, logical configuration, and activation of IPv4/IPv6 services. The contractor will also be required to provide 24x7 monitoring and support for the duration of the contract. Some key points to consider include: • The contractor must provide a dedicated, symmetrical fiber-based Internet circuit with scalable bandwidth options. • The contractor must ensure compliance with TIC 3.0 security requirements and provide DDoS mitigation capabilities. • The contractor must provide 24x7 monitoring and support for the duration of the contract. • The contractor must deliver and maintain the Internet circuit, including all necessary labor, materials, and expertise. • The contractor must provide logging/telemetry for agency SIEM/CDM integration.
