Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to PROAIM Americas, LLC for the upgrade of Zeiss diagnostic systems to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC. The scope of work includes on-site installation of upgrade kits, validation of software functionality, and coordination with clinical engineering and IT personnel. The objective is to obtain necessary license kits, installation services, and technical support to upgrade Zeiss HFA3 and Cirrus OCT units to a VA-compliant operating system. The project must ensure full VA cybersecurity compliance and adhere to VA OIT and Biomedical Engineering standards.
• The project covers the upgrade of four Zeiss Humphrey Field Analyzer 3 and five Zeiss Cirrus Optical Coherence Tomography diagnostic systems.
• The upgrades will utilize OEM-supported Zeiss Windows 10 IoT LTSC license kits.
• The work must be completed within 30 days.
• The project ensures full VA cybersecurity compliance, including migration to a federally approved OS baseline, alignment with VA security controls, and verification of device hardening and patching status.
