Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services for Motorized Gates, Roll-up Doors, and Specialty Doors

The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is requesting quotations for preventive maintenance and as-needed repair services for motorized vehicle gates, commercial roll-up doors, and specialty doors. The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, parts, equipment, and labor necessary to provide these services. The contract shall be for a term of one year, with the option to extend for an additional year. The award will be based on unit prices and percentage discounts. • The contractor must hold a valid D-28 California State Contractors License (CSLB) and have a minimum of five years of experience with industrial gate operators and overhead door systems. • All work must comply with UL 325 Safety Standards for automated gate systems. • The contractor must provide a digital service report after each preventive maintenance or repair service. • The contractor must respond to emergency service calls within two hours. • The contract may be extended by mutual agreement for up to one additional period of one year.
