Description
The State of Michigan is seeking qualified vendors to supply full‑size vans (Class I‑IV) that may be equipped with a wheelchair lift or without. The vans must meet detailed OEM‑based specifications covering towing capability, driver and passenger seating (including ergonomic adjustments and flammability standards), HVAC performance, door configurations, wheelbase, engine/propulsion (including an electric option for Class IV), battery and electrical systems, driveshaft, and optional integrated child restraint seats. The contract includes a 1 % administrative fee payable to the State, a 45‑day payment term, and requires compliance with all listed technical standards and documentation (e.g., towing procedures, certification of HVAC, battery data sheets). The solicitation allows certain OEM alternatives (e.g., Ford Transit lift‑gate, OEM rear HVAC, alternative seat fabrics) provided they meet or exceed the performance criteria.
