Description
Clackamas County is seeking Proposals from vendors to provide Associate Emergency Medical Services Medical Director Services. The county may award up to two contracts as a result of this RFP. The selected Proposer will be required to provide medical direction and oversight for the County's emergency medical services (EMS) system, including participating in local EMS board meetings, advisory committees, and associated committees. The Proposer will also be required to participate in design of EMS system evaluations and improvements, provide education and training to EMS providers, and assist in the development of quality improvement activities.
• Provide medical direction and oversight for the County's EMS system
• Participate in local EMS board meetings, advisory committees, and associated committees
• Participate in design of EMS system evaluations and improvements

• Assist in the development of quality improvement activities
• Serve as lead Medical Director for PSAPs, local fire agencies, and SWAT Medic Program
• Participate in monthly agency-specific EMS/quality improvement committee meetings
• Submit agency-specific reports and presentations to senior leadership or boards, upon request
• Oversight of the maintenance, use, and documentation of all AEDs provided for use by agency
