Description
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is seeking accreditation and inspection services from the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL). The services are required to maintain AASHTO AMRL accreditation, which is an important quality benchmark for the Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD) and partner agencies. The contractor will be responsible for providing accreditation services in accordance with the AASHTO AMRL accreditation program and the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Maintenance of AASHTO AMRL accreditation
• Compliance with the AASHTO AMRL accreditation program and ISO/IEC 17025
• Provision of accreditation services for construction materials testing laboratories
• Ensuring the competence of testing and compliance with quality system requirements
