RFI- INSTALLATON OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES- NATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

The Cherokee Nation is seeking responses to a Request for Information (RFI) on installations of renewable energy at proposed sites. The Nation is interested in receiving information on a diverse set of renewable energy technologies and distributed energy resources, including wind, solar, and geothermal. The RFI is for planning purposes only, and the Nation will utilize the information to obtain funding. If funding is secured, a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued. The proposed sites for future endeavors include the Cooweescoowee Health Center, Washington County Cherokee Association Community Building, Woody Hair Community Center, Kenwood Language Services Center, and Kenwood Marshal Service Building. • The RFI submittals should include estimated cost of system, estimated cost of installation, damage prevention considerations, potential carbon reduction impact, maintenance requirements, and estimated annual maintenance costs. • The Nation is seeking information on a diverse set of renewable energy technologies and distributed energy resources. • The proposed sites have varying energy requirements, ranging from 5,000 kWh to 779,000 kWh. • The RFI responses will be considered proprietary and confidential.
