Chatbot AI Powered - Taxation External Facing Intelligent Agent

The Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) is seeking a qualified vendor to design and implement an AI-powered chatbot solution to improve taxpayer experience on tax.ohio.gov. The solution should provide a Natural Language powered Intelligent Agent, enable secure controls, improve customer experience, and support integration with internal systems through APIs. The project includes requirement gathering, system design and architecture, application development, testing, training, and maintenance. The vendor should have experience in conducting similar types of projects and provide references. The proposal should include a technical proposal, cost proposal, and other required documents. • Key features of the chatbot include: • Answering taxpayer questions within published information • Providing chat reporting and analysis • Allowing customers to print and/or email transcripts • Offering customer survey at the end of chat sessions • Customized branding/image of the bot • Integration with other systems through APIs • Support for omni-channels (live chat, call, text, email, mobile app, etc.) for assistance
