Description
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to seek competitive bids from qualified vendors to establish an Agency Contract to provide Durham Technical Community College with experienced, qualified vendors to provide custodial/janitorial services. The college is seeking a vendor to provide daily cleaning services for classrooms, offices, hallways, conference rooms, auditoriums, and bathrooms across the campus. The vendor will be expected to provide trained staff, appropriate equipment, and reliable supervision to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Key responsibilities include:
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash and recycling removal
• Restroom sanitation and restocking
• Spot cleaning of walls and windows
• Floor care
• Maintaining cleanliness of high-touch surfaces
• Proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Adherence to safety and OSHA guidelines
• Following campus protocols for securing spaces after work is completed
