Description
The Texas Military Department is seeking competitive bids for the replacement of the front HVAC Boiler for a 1997 Teledyne Laars Mighty Max Boiler located on Camp Mabry at 2200 West 35th Street, Building 66, Austin, TX 78703. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, material, and equipment to perform the replacement. Key features of the boiler include high efficiency, sealed combustion, compact, pilotless ignition, digital controls, and low emissions.
• The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for completion of the job.
• The contractor must disconnect and remove the old boiler, remove old vent pipe, and remove and replace existing expansion tank, pressure relief valves, and temperature gauges.
• The contractor must install the new boiler and connect existing water lines, gas lines, and electrical lines.
• The contractor must perform start-up on the new boiler to verify if it is working properly with the existing Building Automation System (BAS) system.
