Description
The State of Alabama, through its Department of Transportation, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide ongoing maintenance and repair services for the fire alarm and sprinkler system at the ALDOT WCR Area 5 Equipment/Warehouse Building in Tuscaloosa. The existing system includes a Gamewell‑FCI S3 Series main panel, addressable annunciator, sprinkler heads, pull stations, photoelectric smoke detector, and related equipment. The contract will be awarded on 9/30/2026 and work will be performed on an as‑needed basis, requiring the vendor to submit service call rates, hourly labor rates (including overtime), and a markup for parts and materials.
• Scope: routine inspections, repairs, part replacements, system upgrades, and emergency service calls for fire alarm and sprinkler components.
• Requirements: vendor must be registered in Alabama Buys, comply with E‑Verify, tax, and debarment certifications, and accept electronic payments.
