Locating Account Owners & Beneficiaries for Distribution of Information & Payment of WRS Benefits

The Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) is seeking professional research and investigative services to locate account owners, survivors, or beneficiaries entitled to benefit payments. The goal is to provide annual statements of benefits, update account data, mitigate the risk of fraud associated with inactive online accounts, and fulfill IRS required distribution requirements. The selected vendor will be responsible for researching and investigating to find individuals who are owners of WRS accounts with invalid contact information, survivors or beneficiaries entitled to benefit payments, or WRS members subject to required minimum distribution requirements. • The vendor will need to provide services to support the ETF's fiduciary and legal obligations. • The vendor will need to have experience in professional research and investigative services. • The vendor will need to be able to efficiently and effectively locate persons who are owners of WRS accounts or are entitled to benefit payments.
