Jail Refrigeration System Replacement

The County of Ontario is soliciting sealed hard‑copy bids to replace the existing central refrigeration rack in the jail’s food‑service area with four independent walk‑in cooler/freezer systems. The scope includes removal of the existing R‑404A‑charged equipment, recovery and proper disposal of refrigerant, supply and installation of new air‑cooled condensing units, evaporators, associated piping, electrical work, controls, and all required safety and code compliance measures. The contractor must provide shop drawings, obtain necessary permits, supply temporary refrigeration to protect food inventories, and deliver full commissioning, testing, and documentation.
