6632--New - Blood Gas Analyzers Gem Premier 7000

The North Texas VA Medical Center is conducting market research to obtain Blood Gas Analyzers Gem Premier 7000 rental for base plus four option years. The contractor will provide eight blood gas analyzers, data management software, installation on premises, in-service and user training, and other related services. The analyzers must be able to perform various tests, including pH, pCO2, pO2, and others. The contractor must also provide a dedicated implementation team and technical support. Some key features of the required blood gas analyzers include: • Must be able to perform tests in less than a minute • Must have detection of hemolysis • Must have a measured Total Hemoglobin (tHb) and Oxygen Saturation (sO2) instead of calculated values • Must have an integrated barcode scanner and automatic inlet • Must be able to utilize safePICO syringes with metal mixing balls • Must have a self-sealing cap tip to minimize operator contact with patient blood
