Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a pre-qualified firm to provide demolition and removal services for various structures and improvements in the right of way or easement areas. The scope of work includes the complete demolition and removal of structures, as well as the removal and disposal of demolition debris. The contractor will be required to provide a bid price for each parcel, and the work must be completed within 30 days of the notice to proceed.
• The contractor must be pre-qualified in the Right of Way Property Management service class.
• The contractor must provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price.
• The contractor must maintain liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 and the Georgia Rules for Solid Waste Management Chapter 391-3-4.
