Description
The Maryland State Department of Education is seeking bids for the provision of Freedom Scientific software licenses for use by Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to support blind and visually impaired students in Maryland. The contractor will be required to provide screen reading software, technical support, and maintenance services. The contract will be for a three-year base period, with the option for renewal. The contractor must be an authorized reseller of Freedom Scientific software and have at least two years of experience in reselling the software.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing the software licenses and technical support to the LEAs.
• The contractor will be required to provide maintenance services, including timely installation of updates and patches.
• The contractor will be required to provide access to qualified technical personnel for support requests.
• The contractor will be required to provide a problem escalation procedure for resolving issues.
