The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to extend the ordering period for one year for the Microsoft Enterprise Technical Support Services-II (METSS-II) single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract requires highly trained "Microsoft Blue Badge Cardholder-support" services direct from Microsoft to support the Department of Defense's (DoD) specialized needs. The core requirements include support from and access to Microsoft resources with direct experience building the company's proprietary software to optimize and support the DoD's IT transformation efforts. • The contract is currently in year nine of the period of performance, December 21, 2016 - December 20, 2025. • The required engineering and professional technical support services for Microsoft technology include operational architecture, design, implementation, systems consulting, and maintenance support. • The contract aims to ensure the baseline configuration, upgrades, integration, test, and evaluation of the DISA and DoD's global IT enterprise services. • The contract will provide the necessary emergency messaging, situational awareness, crisis action, and operational capabilities to fulfill DISA and DoD's missions.
