The University at Buffalo (“University”) is seeking the below services: A cloud-based solution for content distribution and web security platform to ensure continuity, scalability, and enhanced discovery across its campus web properties. The platform must fully support the following capabilities: Global Content Distribution: The solution must provide secure, high-performance delivery of web content, APIs, and applications. 1. Delivery of up to 10,000 GB per month, with option for overage as needed 2. Support for dynamic and static content acceleration 3. Intelligent caching and edge optimization 4. Real-time traffic routing and failover 5. Performance analytics and reporting Availability and Scalability: The CDN must ensure high availability and scalability to accommodate peak traffic and mission-critical applications. 1. Automatic scaling to handle traffic spikes 2. Redundant infrastructure for fault tolerance 3. Application and API Protection Comprehensive Security: The solution must provide advanced protection for web applications and APIs, including: 1. Real-time threat detection and mitigation 2. Automated protection against OWASP Top 10 threats, DDoS, and bot attacks 3. API discovery and security enforcement Logging and Visibility: 1. Detailed logs of all HTTP/HTTPS requests and security events 2. Dashboard and reporting tools for monitoring and analysis Integration: 1. Support for integration with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk) 2. Compatibility with custom security rules and threat intelligence feeds Security Optimization Assistance Expert Guidance and Optimization: The service must include ongoing expert support for security policy optimization, tailored to the University’s environment. 1. 6 Professional Services (PS) hours per quarter, with option for overage 2. Regular security reviews and recommendations 3. Assistance with configuration and tuning of product 4. Incident response support and best practices Compliance and Reporting Regulatory Compliance: The solution must support compliance with relevant state and federal regulations. 1. Audit logs and compliance reporting features Support and Service Levels Responsive Support: The vendor must provide 24/7 support and defined service level agreements suitable for a higher education environment.
