As-Needed Agreements for Construction Services

The San Francisco International Airport is seeking qualified firms, teams, joint ventures, or other qualified business entities to submit a Qualifications Package for as-needed construction services. The Airport anticipates awarding up to eight As-Needed Agreements, each with a not-to-exceed amount of $6,000,000 and a duration of five years. The scope of work includes general repairs and maintenance, new construction and modifications, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, site work and infrastructure, and compliance and safety. Proposers must demonstrate experience and qualifications in providing as-needed construction services, including managing multiple trade subcontractors, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and using electronic project management systems. • The Airport will issue a Request for Quotes for individual Contract Service Orders (CSOs) to all Contractors that have capacity within their As-Needed Agreement to perform the CSO Work. • The Contractor with the lowest responsive and responsible Quote will be awarded the CSO. • Contractors are not required to submit a Quote for each CSO issued but are encouraged to do so. • Each approved CSO will become part of and incorporated into the As-Needed Agreement as though fully set forth without the need for a formal Change Order to the As-Needed Agreement.
