The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to perform surface preparation and painting of structural steel, concrete barriers, fences, and lighting elements on the 531‑foot North Ohio Street Bridge that spans two active railroad lines. The work includes painting of roadway and pedestrian fences, integrated lighting fixtures, concrete barriers, rail sections, and a large inventory of street‑ and pedestrian‑light poles both on‑ and off‑bridge. Bidders must be pre‑qualified under KDOT Work Type Q for structural‑steel painting and must purchase the full set of plans/specifications for $22.00 before submitting their sealed bids.
