Description
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety is seeking bids for preventive maintenance services for HVAC systems at the North Carolina National Guard RRS (Regional Readiness Center and 9 Field Maintenance Shop) in McLeansville, NC. The contract has an initial term of one year with options for two additional one-year terms. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing scheduled preventive maintenance for HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, extend equipment life, and reduce costly repairs.
• The contract requires the vendor to provide labor, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the preventive maintenance services.
• The vendor must have experience in providing similar services and must be able to demonstrate their ability to perform the work.
• The contract includes provisions for pricing, payment terms, and performance requirements.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements, including those related to environmental, health, and safety.
• The contract includes a mandatory site visit, and the vendor must attend the site visit to be considered for the contract.
• The contract has a validity period of at least 90 days from the date of bid opening.
• The state reserves the right to negotiate with one or more vendors and to reject all original offers and negotiate with one or more sources of supply.
• The contract includes provisions for dispute resolution, contract changes, and transition assistance.
