Description
The 22nd Contracting Squadron is seeking qualified vendors to provide maintenance services for the Giant Voice system at McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas. The contractor will be responsible for performing quarterly preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment as needed. The contractor must be a certified SiRcom technician and have experience working with similar systems. The services will be performed on a annual basis, with a base year from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026, and four one-year options. The contractor will be required to provide a plan for continuation of services in the event of a crisis. Some key tasks include:
• Performing quarterly full in-depth preventative maintenance inspections on all systems associated with the Giant Voice Mass Notification System
• Coordinating with the base point of contact to conduct inspections of the Speaker Array, Siren Control Enclosure, and Remote terminal Units
• Conducting preventative maintenance on Siren Sites, Siren Controls, Siren Heads, and Remote terminal Units
• Notifying the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) of any obstructions or conditions that may cause safety, service, or performance problems
• Ensuring that all contractor employees comply with security requirements and procedures
• Providing a plan for continuation of services in the event of a crisis
The contractor will be required to submit a capability statement, including information on their experience, qualifications, and ability to perform the required services.
