NCCU Annual Open-End Design Service Agreements

One-Two SentencesNorth Carolina Central University is accepting proposals fordesign, bidding, and construction administration services insupport of University INFORMAL renovation and constructionprojects (i.e. less than $300,000). The Open-End Agreement,(OEA), is an Annual Service Agreement and will be applied onan as-needed basis by the University. Details on thespecific services required will be defined within aStatement of Work issued by Facilities Management for eachindividual project effort. Duly qualified and licensedprofessionals may submit for the following disciplines:1.Architectural - General2.Architectural - Lab Design3.Asbestos Abatement (Design and Testing Services)4.Civil Engineering5.Construction Cost Estimating Services6.Engineering Commissioning/Retro-commissioning7.Landscape Design8.Materials Testing/ Geotechnical Engineering9.MEP Engineering Services - General10.Roof Waterproofing and Building Envelope11.Structural Engineering12.Surveying and Utility Location ServicesSubmittals are limited to 20 pages (10 sheets of letterformat, tabloid format shall be considered as 2 pages). Thesubmission shall not include links to external websites ordownloadable files. The submittal must include descriptionsof (based on 01 NCAC 30J .0303 SELECTING CRITERIA):1. Specialized or appropriate expertise in this typeof project2. Past performance on similar projects3. Adequate staff and proposed design & consultantteam for potential projects4. Current workload and State projects awarded6. Recent experiences with project costs andschedules7. Construction administration capabilities8. Proximity to and familiarity with the campus9. Record of successfully completed projects withoutmajor legal or technical problems10.
