Self-Service Firewood Dispensing Systems

The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide and install self-service firewood dispensing systems at various county parks. The selected vendor will be responsible for the supply, installation, and maintenance of the dispensing systems, including the tracking of firewood inventory and regular resupply of firewood. The systems must meet specific design and construction requirements, including being constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials and equipped with a secure locking mechanism. The vendor must also provide a payment system that accepts multiple forms of payment and is PCI-DSS compliant. • The firewood dispensing systems will be used to provide firewood to park visitors for camping and picnic activities. • The systems must be able to store a minimum of 50 firewood bundles and have a capacity to dispense standard-sized firewood bundles. • The vendor must provide regular deliveries of firewood based on their inventory tracking system. • The vendor must also provide training for County staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the dispensing systems.
