Umbrella Shelter Replacement Shelters

The Lakeland Area Mass Transit District is seeking proposals for the replacement of bus shelters. The project involves the procurement and installation of new shelter packages, including small, standard, large, and supersize shelters. The contract will be awarded based on a best-value competitive negotiated procurement process. The proposer must demonstrate compliance with minimum requirements, including being in good standing and authorized to transact business in the State of Florida, and not being listed in the System for Award Management as an excluded party. The proposal must include a copy of the proposer's State of Florida Certificate of Status or Good Standing and all necessary licenses, registrations, or certifications required to perform the work. Some key features of the project include: • The contract term shall be to project completion, with the work commencing upon the LAMTD's issuance of a Notice to Proceed. • The proposer must provide a firm price for the contract, with prices remaining firm for a period of one year from the effective date of the contract. • The LAMTD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to cancel or postpone the solicitation, in whole or in part, for any reason, without liability. • The proposer must comply with all laws, ordinances, and regulations applicable to the services contemplated, including those related to conflict of interest, collusion, and equal employment opportunity. • The proposer must maintain the required insurance throughout the entire term of the contract and any extensions specified in any attached schedules.
