Description
The San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department is seeking a consultant to provide plan review and fire inspection services for new construction, tenant improvements, and system modifications within the cities of San Mateo, Belmont, and Foster City. The consultant will be responsible for conducting technical plan reviews, fire inspections, and providing fire prevention administrative support services as needed. The selected consultant will be expected to uphold the standard of delivering consistent, high-quality plan review and inspection services to residents, businesses, contractors, and non-profit organizations.

• Fire Plan Review Services
• Fire Inspection Services
• Permitting Services
• Fire Administration Support Services
• Maintaining current working knowledge of all applicable fire and building codes, local ordinances, and standards
• Utilizing software programs for permitting purposes and corresponding with staff and/or public with issues/concerns regarding plan reviews
