Description
The Palisades Park Board of Education is seeking a qualified legal‑services provider to deliver general counsel, representation, and compliance‑related advice to the school district. The contract will cover a full year of services, requiring the vendor to adhere to numerous New Jersey statutes governing procurement, ethics, background checks, and anti‑bullying reporting. The successful firm must maintain required insurance coverages, provide necessary certifications (e.g., de‑barment, political‑contribution disclosure), and be able to respond to any legal matters that arise for the district.
• Provide general legal counsel, representation, and advisory services to the Board of Education.
• Ensure compliance with NJ statutes (e.g., N.J.S.A. 10:5‑31, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A‑xx) and report any student‑bullying incidents promptly.
• Maintain required insurance (general liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, etc.) and submit all certifications and bond guarantees.
