Description
The Kentucky State Fair Board is seeking a qualified Entertainment Manager to book and produce entertainment acts for the Kentucky State Fair. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing stage productions, and coordinating logistics. The contract period will be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2028, with the option to renew for up to two additional two-year periods.
Key responsibilities include:
• Booking entertainment acts for the Kentucky State Fair
• Negotiating contracts with entertainers and their managers or agents
• Managing stage productions, including coordinating security, stagehands, sound and lighting services, catering, and transportation
• Providing personnel assistance as required
• Ensuring compliance with Procurement rules and regulations
• Coordinating with the KSFB's Purchasing Department to procure necessary items and services
