Term Contract for Athletic Facilities Architectural/Engineering Services

The Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) is seeking a term contract for architectural and engineering services for athletic facilities. The selected firm will provide professional services on an "as-needed" basis for a period of one year, with the option for up to three one-year renewals. The scope of services includes investigations, studies, reports, designs, and related services for athletic facilities. The contract will have a maximum aggregate total fee of $10,000,000. • The contractor will be required to provide services in accordance with the Virginia Tech Manual, including codes, standards, accessibility, and building efficiency. • The contractor will be required to comply with the Virginia Tech Design and Construction Standards Manual and the Virginia Tech Campus Design Principles. • The contractor will be required to provide a Universal Design A/E Guidance Checklist as part of the proposal. • The contractor will be required to use Primavera P6 or a similar system for developing a CPM schedule. • The contractor will be required to provide electronic parent files (i.e., XER for Primavera) to Virginia Tech upon request.
