Description
The VA is seeking a vendor to provide a temporary boiler rental for its Montrose Campus to cover a short‑term heating need while a permanent boiler is repaired. The contractor must supply an 800‑HP (up to 1000‑HP) steam boiler capable of 120,000 lb/hr capacity, meet a 9 ppm NOx limit (or provide emissions‑control equipment), operate at up to 95 PSIG, and be installed by 1 Nov 2026 with service ready by 1 Dec 2026. The scope includes delivery, installation of gas/oil/electrical services, steam and feedwater piping, permits, controls, monthly maintenance, training, and removal after the project ends (approx. 5‑month rental). The VA provides fuel, retains air‑permit responsibility, and will not waive safety‑device requirements.
