CAP RFP CONSTRUCTION MGMT AND INSPECTION SERVICES 41C2408 MC Jail Cell Improvements & Related Work

The County of Marin is seeking a professional consulting team to provide construction management and special inspection services for a jail‑cell renovation project. The scope includes repairing, retrofitting, or replacing cell furniture, fixtures and equipment; renovating inmate showers; installing new resilient flooring in cells, dayrooms and support spaces; and replacing specialty detention doors. The contract term is about 17 calendar months, with roughly 14 months of on‑site construction, and work is expected to commence in September. • Repair/retrofit/replace inmate‑cell furnishings, fixtures, and equipment. • Renovate inmate showers and install resilient flooring throughout housing units. • Provide construction management oversight and special inspections throughout the project. • Coordinate security clearances for site walk participants and manage subcontractors. • Deliver a complete construction‑management and inspection service package for a correctional facility.
