Description
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking bids from manufacturers or authorized contractors to provide technical support services for Metasys Building Automation Systems (BAS) at two locations in Texas. The services include quarterly system software testing, inspection, technical support, and software services. The contract term is 60 months, from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2031. Bidders must submit their responses electronically by 5:00 PM Central Time on May 29, 2026.
• The scope of work includes quarterly system software testing and inspection, technical support, and software services for the Metasys BAS at the Austin Headquarters Crime Lab and the Midland District Office.
• The contractor must provide a transition plan in the event of a contract award to a new contractor or if DPS decides to perform the work itself.
• The contractor must comply with all state HUB requirements and submit a completed HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) with their bid.
• The evaluation criteria include the bidder's past performance, experience, and qualifications, as well as the price and other factors.
