Outsourcing of County Marinas Management

The Collier County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals for the outsourcing of management of four county-owned marinas: Port of the Islands Park, Goodland Boat Park, Cocohatchee River Park, and Caxambas Boat Park. The awarded vendor will be responsible for the daily operations of the marinas, including leasing recreational and commercial boat docks, selling concessions and boating supplies, and providing customer service. The vendor will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the marinas, as well as providing a marketing plan to improve occupancy and revenues. • The contract term is for 10 years with two 10-year renewal options. • The annual flat fee commission to the County shall increase by 3% each year. • The vendor shall provide a safety and security plan, as well as a marketing plan. • The vendor shall be responsible for the proper care and maintenance of all existing equipment and fixtures. • The County will provide utilities at each marina location, including electricity, water, and sewer service.
