Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for the provision of liquid deicer for statewide snow and ice operations. The contract will be for an initial period of approximately one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional one-year periods. The successful bidder will be required to provide liquid deicer that meets certain specifications, including being on the Clear Roads Qualified Product List and containing at least 10% organic/carbohydrate add rate content. The bidder will also be required to provide expertise on an on-call basis to assist in the transition from liquid calcium chloride to the new product.
