RFQ #26-002 ON-CALL BROKER/DEALER

The City of Hermosa Beach is seeking qualified broker/dealer firms to provide on‑call brokerage services for its municipal investment portfolio, which currently totals $40‑55 million in Treasury securities, negotiable CDs, and deposits in the California Local Agency Investment Fund. The selected broker(s) will execute trades, furnish market data, and comply with the City’s Investment Policy and all applicable state and federal regulations. This is a non‑exclusive, on‑call arrangement that may involve multiple task orders over the contract period. • Execute purchases, sales, and settlements of U.S. Treasury, agency, and municipal securities, CDs, and other permitted instruments. • Deliver daily market pricing, transaction confirmations, and periodic portfolio reports in electronic format. • Maintain compliance with the City’s 2025 Investment Policy, California Government Code §§ 53600‑53900, and FINRA regulations; provide required insurance coverage and certifications. • Submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) by the April 7, 2026 deadline via the PlanetBids portal; include audited financial statements, FINRA registration, and required forms. • Participate in any post‑submission interviews or clarifications as requested by the City.
