Description
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a sole source contract to EDAX, LLC for the maintenance of two detectors: an energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and an electron backscatter diffractometer (EBSD). The contractor will provide annual preventive maintenance, inspection, and calibration of the equipment, as well as technical support and software updates. The contract will be for a period of one year, starting on August 1, 2026.
• The contractor must be a qualified service engineer with experience in EDAX equipment
• The contractor must provide all necessary tools and calibration devices
• The contractor must have a favorably completed background investigation
• The contractor must comply with all applicable security regulations and requirements
• The contractor must provide a capability statement, including management and technical data, and cost information
