RFQ - Masonry Services

Tennessee Technological University’s Facilities Department seeks a qualified masonry contractor to provide on‑call, “as‑needed” services across its Cookeville campus and three satellite locations. The contractor must supply all labor, tools, equipment, and materials, and bill hourly rates (skilled and unskilled) plus a 15 % markup on materials. The contract runs for five years, with rates locked for the first year and a formal request process for any annual adjustments. The award will be based on the lowest combined skilled‑plus‑unskilled hourly rate. • Perform a variety of masonry tasks including tuck‑pointing, brick laying, block work, lintel replacement, and capstone repairs. • Provide all labor (skilled & unskilled) and equipment; travel is included in rates except for three remote sites where an extra hour per worker per day may be billed. • Submit detailed invoices per job with labor hours, work description, location, and requesting TTU personnel; materials billed at cost + 15 % markup, with no markup on rentals or travel.
