Description
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced companies to develop a Transit Development Plan (TDP) for Palm Tran. The TDP will serve as a strategic guide for public transportation in the community over the next decade. The selected proposer will provide services for a 12-month period. The proposal should include experience, qualifications, project approach, key personnel, and price proposal.
• The TDP must comply with the new TDP Rule, which includes better coordination between the TDP and long-range transportation plan process.
• The TDP should address priority transit corridors in the TDP and LRTP for consistency.
• The TDP should include a 10-year capital and operating program consisting of a schedule of capital and operating projects over a 10-year planning horizon and associated costs and revenues (financial plan).
• The TDP should remove certain requirements, such as updating the transit provider's goals and objectives, alternative course of actions, and a comprehensive situation appraisal.
