Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a contractor to provide Maintenance Engineering & Inspection (MEI) Services for District 1 - Gainesville. The purpose of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is to solicit qualifications from firms interested in providing these services. The scope of work includes providing MEI services to support the maintenance and inspection of transportation infrastructure in District 1. Key responsibilities may include:
• Providing engineering and inspection services to support maintenance activities
• Conducting inspections of transportation infrastructure
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans
• Coordinating with other GDOT departments and stakeholders
• Providing technical expertise and support to GDOT staff.
The selected firm will be expected to have experience in providing similar services, a strong understanding of transportation infrastructure maintenance and inspection, and the ability to work effectively with GDOT staff and other stakeholders.
