Description
The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) is seeking a contractor to provide food concession services at the DOI Stewart Lee Udall Building. The contractor will be responsible for establishing and operating food concession facilities, including a cafeteria and coffee bar, and providing high-quality food products to DOI staff and visitors. The contract will be for a base period of 1 year, with four 1-year option periods, and the contractor must comply with federal regulations, including U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans and LEED sustainability requirements.
• The contractor must provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service, minimizing interference with building operations.
• The contractor must employ sufficient personnel and pay all associated fees/expenses.
• The contractor must maintain cleanliness and sanitization in kitchen and serving areas.
• The contractor must provide equipment and supplies, including green products and compostable dining ware.
• The contractor must comply with local and state health codes and regulations.
