PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, TESTING AND REPAIRS TO THE EMAS SYSTEM

The County of Mercer is seeking bids for preventative maintenance, testing, and repairs to the Engineered Materials Arresting Systems (EMAS) at the Trenton-Mercer Airport. The work includes removal and replacement of sealing components, application of self-adhering tape, and other tasks as specified. The contractor will need to coordinate with Runway Safe Group to ensure compliance with FAA regulations. The project is expected to be completed within 60 days of the notice to proceed. • The contractor must possess the necessary skills and experience to perform the work. • The contractor must provide a safety program that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and Public Works Contractor Registration Act. • The contractor must provide certified payroll records and comply with the requirements of the Insurance and Indemnification Agreement.
