VACTOR EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

The County of Westchester is seeking bids from qualified vendors to establish a contract for the maintenance, repair, and service of Vactor Jet Rodder and vacuum equipment. The contract term will be 18 months, with the option to extend for up to two additional 18-month periods. The awarded vendor will be required to provide comprehensive service coverage, including preventive maintenance, diagnostic inspections, parts replacement, and emergency repair as needed. The vendor must be an authorized dealer of Vactor brand equipment, employ factory-trained technicians, and have been in continuous business for at least 15 years as an authorized dealer and service provider of Vactor Jet Rodder and vacuum equipment. • The vendor will perform all repairs, maintenance, and parts replacement for Vactor Jet Rodder and vacuum equipment. • The vendor will provide a written cost estimate for any repair work and receive written approval from the authorized County representative before commencing work. • The vendor will notify the County representative promptly upon completion of repairs or when ordered parts are available. • The vendor will provide a written cost estimate for any transportation costs if pickup or delivery by the vendor is deemed necessary by the County.
