Description
The NYS Office of Mental Health is seeking a vendor to develop and provide training curriculum and a learning management system for the new Credentialed Mental Health Support Specialist (CMHSS) credential. The successful vendor will work under the general direction of OMH to create a curriculum based on the CMHSS core competencies, develop a method for delivering the training, and provide all of the initial and ongoing continuing education training requirements for credential seekers and holders. The vendor will also maintain a learning management system, create and maintain the administrative process for issuing certificates, and provide technical assistance for credential seekers and holders. Key aspects of the job include:
* Creating a curriculum based on the CMHSS core competencies
* Identifying and contracting with subject matter experts to deliver trainings
* Maintaining a learning management system
* Creating and maintaining the administrative process for issuing certificates
* Providing technical assistance for credential seekers and holders
* Supporting between 500 and 1,000 paraprofessionals seeking the credential each year
* Creating and administering technical assistance protocols for provider agencies supporting paraprofessionals obtaining the credential and required trainings
