Generator Services for Preventative and Corrective Maintenance

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is seeking a contractor to provide generator services for preventative and corrective maintenance. The contractor will be responsible for performing annual inspections and maintenance of standby diesel, gas, and LP generators at various WSSC facilities in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties. The contractor must have experience providing generator services for preventative, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs on commercial or industrial standby generators. The contract will be for a base term with option years. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment to perform annual inspections and maintenance of generators • Furnishing all necessary supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and materials to conduct annual maintenance inspections of emergency standby generators • Performing annual inspection and maintenance on all approved generators • Meeting minimum qualifications, including holding a valid license to perform generator installation and repair in Maryland and having key personnel certified by the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) • Demonstrating experience servicing multiple major generator manufacturers and providing OEM parts for generator systems • Accessing and utilizing manufacturer-specific diagnostic software and tools required to service generator equipment
